Comprises 'The Foundations of England' (Swan Sonnenschein, 1898, 2 Vols), 'The Angevin Empire' (1903), 'The Dawn of the Constitution' (1908), 'The Genesis of Lancaster' (1913, 2 Vols) and 'Lancaster and York' (1892, 2 Vols). Some volumes with bookplates. According to the DNB, Ramsay was 'a chronicler rather than an historian...but the narrative part of whose work is valuable'. The spines of a few volumes lightly faded, and worn to base, but generally a very good and clean set. Item #25242
