With decorative cartouche, scale of miles surmounted by a falconer, shepherdess and the Clifford arms together with the arms of the earls of Carlisle and Westmorland. The counties coloured in outline and with body-colour and showing mountains, lakes, parks etc., and the sea with ships, compass roses and rhumb lines. Text to verso. Plate size 20 3/4" (53 cm) x 16 1/4" (41.5 cm). Expensively mounted, framed and glazed, measuring 30" x 26" overall.
