There are two ways to search for stock items. 1) Text search: The text search is a blank box on the left of the page with a "GO" button next to it. When a word is typed into the box and the button clicked, this search looks for that word in all the stock items we hold. Including the subject keywords assigned to them. For example: A search for "black" finds items that have the word "black" in their title, description, or author as well as finding items associated with a keyword or subject "black". 2) Advanced Search: While the text search queries all the data in a record, the Advanced Search allows you to restrict the search to the contents of any particular field. You can enter information in multiple fields to assist in searching for your required interest. For example: Placing "Anon" in the Author Field and "Leeds" in the Title field will return only those items that include both of these words in each field.
